Hi, My name is Ben Bansen. My wife Jade and I are the owners of Rogue Rafting Company. We are a small family owned business which is not uncommon in the outfitter industry. The difference is that we are also local to the Rogue Valley, are not only the owners but also guides, and we live on the river(literally). One of our best features is our location. Rogue Rafting Company is located at the take out of Southern Oregon's Most Popular Day Rafting trip. This is nice because you will not have a long van ride to the river.
I started guiding here in the Rogue Valley in 2003 and new that one day I would like to have my own guide service. Since then I have had the opportunity to work with almost every Outfitter in Southern Oregon. This has given me the opportunity to see what works and what doesn't. Our Goal as an outfitter is to give our guests the opportunity to see why and how we enjoy the outdoors so much. Being a guide and respecting the power of nature has made safety and education the top priority of our company. We are constantly doing hands on practical training to keep up with current river running and rescue techniques. Our guides have current first aid/CPR certification as well as swiftwater rescue certification.
